To help couples celebrate this romantic holiday, Kagaya at Beitou Shishein is offering【Winter Love Feast】Valentine’s accommodation package from February 1 to March 15. The package includes staying in a “Garden View Western-Japanese / Japanese Standard Suite,” and features services such as a tea ceremony with the concierge and mochi tasting, a complimentary deluxe buffet breakfast for two the next day, and the Hiyori Hall’s【Golden Moment—Gold Leaf Chocolate Hot Pot】for two people, plus a two-person dinner of Nagisa Kaiseki cuisine. Furthermore, a bottle of Harukikoe sake or French Cattier champagne is included as a special gift. On top of that, on February 14 and March 14, the hotel will host a hand care workshop where couples can create special moments through close interaction. On Tuesdays and Thursdays during the package period, there will also be a DIY photo frame workshop. Guests can insert their instant Polaroid photos taken on-site into the finished frames, preserving memories with their loved ones. Additionally, if you want to share a romantic afternoon tea with your loved one while taking in the greenery of Beitou Park, the Hiyori Hall at Shishein Kagaya—with its view of Beitou Park—is definitely the best choice. In the love-filled days around Valentine’s Day, the Hiyori Hall is offering a limited-time item: the 【Golden Moment—Gold Leaf Chocolate Hot Pot】. It uses rich, bittersweet chocolate as the base for the fondue, which you can dip into with various fruits, cakes, marshmallows, and cookies, all garnished with gold leaf for a delightful bite that wraps you in sweetness and happiness.

It’s worth mentioning that the period spanning from Western Valentine’s Day to White Day is also the peak season for Beitou’s local specialty—mandarin oranges. The Hiyori Hall has put thought into this by offering “Kagaya Mandarin Orange Cake,” made by pressing whole fresh mandarins, to be enjoyed with the chocolate fondue. Preserving the natural citrus aroma and the rich dietary fiber of the fruit, the warm chocolate sauce coats the mandarin orange cake. With one bite, the bitter-sweetness of the chocolate and the fragrant citrus burst forth together, accented with a hint of citrus peel spice, creating an unforgettable sweet memory.
