Duo'er Café once gained immense popularity due to Gwei Lun-mei’s role in the movie "The 36th Story." Since its opening in 2009, the café, located in the Minsheng community, has been a pilgrimage site for many movie fans. The story follows the protagonist Duo'er who opens her dream café, while her sister Qiang'er plays a bartering game in the café — each item brought in for exchange carries behind it a unique urban tale.
