【Exhibition】Lavender Forest's "Dream Forest of Travelers" Wall-less Art Exhibition

Lavender Forest, which enjoys immense popularity in Taiwan, embarked on a new cultural and creative journey on January 16, 2015. In collaboration with top designer Xiao Qingyang, the exhibition was curated to showcase works by illustrator Cherng (Malayan Tapir), illustrator Cathy, and Mandarin lyricist Vincent Fang. These three cultural and creative professionals jointly created a wall-less art exhibition themed around "travel," simultaneously launched at Lavender Forest’s Xinshe, Jianshi, and Mingde locations. The exhibition will run until June 30, 2016.

Lavender Forest was originally founded at the end of 2001 by two young women, Tingfei and Huijun, in Xinshe, Taichung. Fourteen years later, in order to recreate the dreams and beauty of “Lavender Forest,” renowned designer Xiao Qingyang reinterpreted the story of travelers pursuing their dreams in this promised land. He collaborated across disciplines with Vincent Fang, Cathy Chen, and Malayan Tapir Cherng. Together, driven by their original dreams, they built a forest theater where dreams and reality meet, recording the journey of dreams.
