Currently, Yoshino cherry blossoms have been blooming successively across various districts in New Taipei City,and the cherry blossom festival events include the "Travel with Spring" — Tamsui Wuji Tianyuan Temple Cherry Blossom Festival held on White Day, March 14!

The "2015 New Taipei City Cherry Blossom Season" invites all cherry blossom enthusiasts to admire mountain cherries, double-flowered cherries, and Yoshino cherries. This will be followed by the "Travel with Spring" — Tamsui Wuji Tianyuan Temple Cherry Blossom Festival and the Tucheng "Hope River Left Bank Cherry Blossom" event. Other activities include the Cherry Blossom Wish Tree, the "Cherry Blossom Photography Contest" with your camera, as well as special offers from partner shops across various districts in New Taipei City. During the cherry blossom season, you can enjoy the flowers and also have fun dining and exploring—come out and celebrate spring with us!

Since March, Tianyuan Temple has seen a continuous influx of cherry blossom tourists,and the Taipei City Government has implemented traffic controls on Beixin Road in Tamsui District in response to the cherry blossom crowds. These controls are in effect every Saturday and Sunday from 6 AM to 6 PM,with flexible vehicle volume restrictions on the uphill road. Drivers are advised to use alternative routes such as Xinlin Road, Xinxing Road, and Xingren Road. A free parking lot at Shanziding, along Beixin Road, can accommodate approximately 550 vehicles. Once the flexible control measures are activated, vehicles will be prohibited from entering Beixin Road. Temporary free parking lots are available on Section 4 of Xinshi 2nd Road, Section 2 of Yishan Road, and Section 1 of Xinshi 6th Road up to the Sha] intersection. After parking, visitors can take a paid cherry blossom shuttle bus to Tianyuan Temple.

Additionally, on non-holidays you cantake bus routes 875, 876, 866, or 877 from the opposite side of Tamsui MRT Station to Tianyuan Temple to see the cherry blossoms,or take a dedicated cherry blossom shuttle bus in front of Tamsui MRT Station. On holidays, cherry blossom shuttle buses are also available at Exit 2 of Tamsui MRT Station, as well as at the intersection of Yishan Road, Xinshi 2nd Road, and Xinshi 3rd Road. Alternatively, you can use a shared taxi service from the taxi stand at Exit 2 of Tamsui MRT Station or the intersection of Yishan Road and Xinshi 3rd Road to travel to and from Tianyuan Temple in Tamsui. The shared taxi ride costs 200 NTD per trip, to be split among 2 to 4 passengers.
