Roppongi Hills Plaza in Tokyo boasts over 100 cherry blossom trees, creating a spectacularly beautiful sight in spring. This year, Roppongi Hills is also hosting its annual “Midtown Blossom 2015” cherry blossom event from March 20 to April 19. Unlike typical picnics on the grass, visitors here can enjoy an open-air LOUNGE experience, appreciating the beauty of blooming cherry blossoms in a relaxed and delightful atmosphere.

Roppongi Hills Plaza is home to 150 cherry blossom trees of eight different varieties. To celebrate the eighth anniversary of the opening of Roppongi Hills Plaza, this year’s “Midtown Blossom 2015” has partnered with the world’s top sweet sparkling wine, “MARTINI,” to launch the MARTINI Blossom Lounge. On March 30 at 11 AM, the first 500 guests were offered a complimentary pink champagne tasting. Visitors planning to enjoy the cherry blossoms shouldn’t miss this unique blend of European elegance and outdoor picnic fun.
