Light up Treasure Hill!” 2015 “The Light Calls You Back” Environmental Art Lantern Festival
The Treasure Hill Lantern Festival, held since 2012, this year takes “The Light Calls You Back” as its theme, incorporating new ideas from creators who have previously resided or performed in the art village, re-integrating the unique terrain of Treasure Hill as a creative stage. For the first time, cross-disciplinary collaborations among artists from various fields are planned. In addition to static displays, the works also integrate music, theater, and dance to create irreplaceable experiences. The festival will be held from March 28 to April 26.

This year’s curatorial team has planned four major components: the opening performance, static installations, dynamic performances, and the “Treasure Home” program, ensuring that every visitor can explore every corner thoroughly. Visitors can also experience the unique atmosphere of an artistic community through the nomadic perspective, following the artists’ paths into the mountain-city landscape on the city’s outskirts, and immersing themselves in the special ambiance of an artistic commune amid the bustling urban life.
