Taiwan’s favorite One-Zen-ya Ramen has opened a new branch in Osaka—“Dotonbori Yatai-kan.” The new branch spans five floors and offers a variety of One-Zen-ya Ramen products. While the first floor features souvenirs, floors two through five are seating areas, totaling 172 seats, making it the largest branch in Japan. “Dotonbori Yatai-kan” is scheduled to open at 11:00 AM on April 16.

One-Zen-ya Ramen is a famous ramen shop originating from Fukuoka, offering customizable ramen flavors. Customers can choose everything from richness of flavor and toppings to soup base seasoning and noodle firmness—all without extra charge. This makes it easy for foreign visitors not used to Japan’s traditionally rich and salty ramen to enjoy it, which is why it’s so popular. The newly opened One-Zen-ya Ramen “Dotonbori Yatai-kan” is not far from the existing One-Zen-ya Dotonbori branch. The first floor is for souvenir shopping, while floors two and three feature One-Zen-ya’s signature counter seating. Floors four and five offer yatai-style seating (yatai refers to street food stalls in Japanese), where you can dine with friends. The counter area has 60 individual seats, and the yatai area has 112 seats, totaling 172. Additionally, there are two types of dining areas with different ramen ticket vending machines, so be sure to check before purchasing your meal.
