April 17 – AKB48’s Star-Studded Lineup Makes Their First Appearance at the Flower Expo Stage

Japan’s super-popular idol group AKB48 will take the stage for a high-energy performance from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM on the first afternoon of the exhibition. This performance features the highest-caliber lineup to date, led by General Manager Minami Takahashi, alongside Kawamoto Sayaya, known as the “Super Nova” and “Most Anticipated Newcomer,” and Mukai Mashiro, a former child actress dubbed the “successor to Yuko Oshima.” The trio will deliver a half-hour “AKB48 Hot Stage” show. This performance holds special meaning for long-time AKB48 fans, as it marks the rare appearance of founding member Minami Takahashi before her graduation at the end of 2015. April 18 – Kocho Mei and StarMarie Take the Stage

Debut single that reached No. 8 on Japan’s Oricon Daily Chart, Kocho Mei, will kick off the second day’s exciting stage activities from 11:00 AM to 11:40 AM. Known as the “ethnic mass migration idol” for inviting the audience to move along with her during performances, she brings a unique energy. Meanwhile, the globally popular Japanese lolita group StarMarie makes their third visit to Taiwan, showcasing their deep appreciation for their Taiwanese fans. These two distinctly different acts promise a refreshing audiovisual experience for fans.

Over 100 of Japan’s wildly popular robots, “Robi,” will gather for their debut dance performance in Taiwan on the 17th and 18th, showcasing synchronized moves and nimble walking. Furthermore, throughout the four-day exhibition from April 17 to 20, there will be unexpected performances every day. An ultra-large seamless 8K screen, exceeding 50 meters in width and 5 meters in height, will make its Taiwan debut, immersing audiences in the beauty of Japan. From Uji tea and ninjas, to the traditional “Yosakoi” whistle dance and taiko drum performances, this glamorous lineup ensures non-stop excitement every day.
