Eat the moon for you instead of the other way around – a Sailor Moon 20th Anniversary pop-up café

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Sailor Moon, a range of limited-time themed desserts and merchandise has been launched across Japan. For this event, Sailor Moon has collaborated with Tokyo’s popular Q-pot Café to create desserts inspired by the Sailor Moon universe. Cartoon elements are integrated into visually stunning and delicious treats that are sure to delight fans’ imaginations.

Starting June 15, Q-pot CAFÉ will debut four themed menu items, including the Moon Crystal Change Macaron, the Legendary Holy Grail Sweet Sundae, the Tuxedo Mask Rose Tea, and the Moon Crystal Power Iced Tea. Not only are the color schemes and appearances true to the cartoon concept, but the flavors are also crafted with care, combining a variety of ingredients to create colorful and delicious desserts. For example, the Moon Crystal Change Macaron is designed to resemble the Moon Crystal Change Rod, featuring macarons paired with whipped cream, strawberries, and blueberries – looking both realistic and adorable. Meanwhile, the Legendary Holy Grail Sweet Sundae is centered around berry ingredients, with fresh orange cream and fruit jam adding layers of flavor that are sure to make your mouth water just thinking about them.

Although Q-pot CAFÉ has currently only released four desserts, the brand says more concept-based sweets will be introduced in the future. Additionally, a line of Sailor Moon × Q-pot. dessert accessories will go on sale on June 30, Usagi Tsukino’s birthday.
