Don’t miss your last weekend—Kyushu Anko Tonkatsu is saying goodbye!

Managed by Bono Food Service, Kyushu Anko Tonkatsu will cease its agency operations at the end of May. Starting May 1st, the Kyushu Anko Tonkatsu SOGO Tianmu store will be taken over by another Bono-managed brand—Shizuoka Katsuhide Japanese-Style Pork Cutlet. Other locations such as the SOGO Fuxing branch and Fuxing branch will also gradually close or undergo brand changes,Kyushu Anko Tonkatsu will officially end its agency from June 1st.

Originally introduced to Taiwan by Bono Food Service, Kyushu Anko Tonkatsu had its Taiwanese agency rights transferred to La Kaffa International and was rebranded as Ginza Anko Tonkatsu. Meanwhile, Bono Food Service, taking advantage of the incomplete termination of its franchise agreements, introducedShizuoka Prefecture’s Katsuhide Japanese-Style Tonkatsuas well asIseji Katsuei Pork Cutlet to its lineup.Currently, Shizuoka Katsuhide Japanese-Style Tonkatsu has just opened its fifth branch nationwide on the B2 floor of Zhongyou Department Store. Meanwhile, the first Iseji Katsuei Pork Cutlet store is located at Taipei’s Breeze Center Songgao branch, with a second branch set to open at the former Kyushu Anko Tonkatsu SOGO Fuxing location. Additionally, the Kyushu Anko TonkatsuFuxing branch near Technology Building MRT Stationwill remain open until May 31st before closing permanently.
