The three new stations in Miaoli, Changhua, and Yunlin will officially open on December 1st, increasing the total number of high-speed rail stations from seven to ten. To address passengers' concerns about longer travel times, the new train route schedule will maintain both the Taipei-Kaohsiung non-stop service and all-stations service, while adding a new express-style limited-stop service—without affecting existing trains that make fewer stops.A new timetable with the updated routes is expected to be released in October.. In terms of fares, based on the current high-speed rail pricing system, fares from Taipei to Miaoli, Changhua, and Yunlin are NT$475, NT$900, and NT$1020 respectively. High-Speed Rail announced on the 25th that starting December 1st, three new stations in Miaoli, Changhua, and Yunlin will be added, with fares set at NT$430, NT$820, and NT$930 respectively. Fares from Taipei to other stations including Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung have also been reduced, now priced at NT$700, NT$1350, and NT$1490. Tickets will go on sale on November 4th. Additionally, with the addition of Miaoli, Yunlin, and Changhua, the full line now has ten stations, and a round trip between Taipei and Zuoying with all stops takes a total of 150 minutes.
