Find Wang Leehom and explore Chimei Museum in Tainan with its floral bus tour

In the area around the Tainan High-Speed Rail Station, golden shower trees and royal poinciana trees have recently bloomed one after another, presenting a sea of flowers in brilliant yellow and red. Framed by the verdant canopy of small-leaved fig trees, this road in Guiren has been dubbed the "Wang Leehom" Boulevard. The Transportation Bureau recommends that tourists take the Greater Tainan Bus and combine it with the Chimei Museum’s weekend cultural shuttle to enjoy a relaxing, car-free bus tour.

Within the Tainan Station area, the golden shower trees near Sha]Junior High School and the royal poinciana trees along Guiren Boulevard near the station are both in full bloom, forming a breathtaking display of competing colors. Paired with the lush greenery of the small-leaved fig tree-lined paths, this stretch has earned the nickname “Wang Leehom” Boulevard — a playful reference to the colors: the yellow of the golden shower, the red of the royal poinciana, and the green of the small-leaved fig. This also cleverly mirrors the yellow, green, and red of the Greater Tainan Bus trunk lines.

The Tainan City Transportation Bureau also recommends using Greater Tainan Bus branches such as the Red 3, Red 14, and Green 16 to reach various locations by bus. After enjoying the floral scenery, visitors can take the Red 3 to the Chimei Museum, then transfer to the weekend cultural shuttle to explore art and culture spots like the Ten Drums Culture Village and the Metropolitan Park, or even head to the Taiwan Sugar Carnival Mall. This offers a one-stop experience for flower viewing, leisurely walks, art exhibitions, and shopping.
