Tainan Airport currently operates two international routes, including the non-China Airlines Wuhan route on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and the daily direct Hong Kong route.Starting October 28th, the Tainan-Osaka route will be added.This brings the total number of international routes to three. Flights will be operated using the Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with schedules staggered from the Wuhan route, also fixed onWednesdays and Saturdays in the afternoon.Since 2013, China Airlines has operated the Hong Kong route from Tainan, gradually increasing from three weekly flights to the current daily round-trip service. Now, seeing the potential in southern Taiwan’s tourism market, the airline is launching the Tainan-Osaka route as well, also adopting a weekly scheduled, round-trip model to make travel between Taiwan and Japan even more convenient!
