Universal Studios Japan goes ultra-evolved this summer vacation with 3D Harry Potter and the Golden Snitch right before your eyes

To welcome the arrival of summer vacation, the most popular Universal Studios Japan has launched a series of attraction updates to ensure everyone has a blast. First up, the globally beloved "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™" races into summer ahead of the holidays, using 3D technology to deliver an unprecedented sense of presence, making the rapidly flying "Golden Snitch™" feel almost within reach. In addition, limited-time events "One Piece Premier Show Summer" and "Resident Evil the Real 3" will also introduce brand-new elements, offering a completely fresh experience unlike before.

The second year of "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™" is even more fun!5In21July,3Dnew technology has been added to create a hyper-realistic immersive experience, delivering an infinitely extending flight over Hogwarts and the sensation of the Golden Snitch flying just within reach. In addition, starting in July, the park will also unveil brand-new merchandise: the wildly popular Quidditch robes, giving magic fans a truly cinematic experience as if stepping into the movie world. As for the hugely popular magical drink from the wizarding world, "Butterbeer™," last year’s hit returns with a summer-exclusive "Frozen Butterbeer™."

In addition to the update to "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™," the "Yo-kai Watch the Real" experience will also make its summer debut, allowing guests to operate the "Yo-kai Watch" and "Yo-kai Pad" to search for hidden Yo-kai around the park. When visitors follow the map shown on the "Yo-kai Pad" and arrive at familiar streets, the "Yo-kai Watch" radar will suddenly react, alerting them to nearby Yo-kai. By responding to the Yo-kai Watch and using the Yo-kai Lens to investigate, guests can experience unexpected encounters with "physical Yo-kai."

The summer-themed amusement park "Summer Water Splashing Surprise Party" will also be fully upgraded. Compared to last year, water volume has increased by 150%, making it the largest water volume in the park’s history.
