Taipei MRT Parent-Child Tickets Go on Sale for Unlimited Rides This Summer Vacation

With summer vacation here, many parents are planning outings with their kids to strengthen family bonds. To this end, Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation has launched a “Parent-Child One-Day Ticket: Buy One, Get One Free” promotion from now until August 30. For parent-child pairs, one child rides free, with unlimited rides allowing the whole family to enjoy a relaxing holiday on weekends and holidays.

This “Parent-Child One-Day Ticket,” first issued by Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation, will be available at MRT station service counters on 23 regular holidays and national holidays from June 19 to August 30. Priced at NT$150 per ticket, one child (ages 6–12) rides free when accompanied by an adult. The ticket allows unlimited rides on the Taipei MRT for the day of purchase—go wherever you want to go.

Additionally, Taipei MRT reminds everyone that the “Parent-Child One-Day Ticket” will be on sale only on regular holidays and national holidays from June 19 (Friday) to August 30 (Sunday), and can be purchased at MRT station service counters. The ticket is valid only on the day of purchase and cannot be used after expiration.
One card, both north and south. Works for Taipei MRT and YouBike too.
