Located in Maharashtra, India, the Kaas Plateau bursts into a riot of wildflowers every August and September. The endless fields of vibrant blooms create a dreamlike, picturesque landscape famous around the world. Situated at an elevation of 1,200 meters and covering about 1,000 hectares, this plateau is home to over 850 plant species, which led to its designation as a UNESCO Biodiversity Heritage Site in 2012.
