Large-scale 3D art paintings have appeared in Shizitou Island Head Park, using rushing river water and painted patterns of bamboo rafts and rubber boats to depict the “wetland” concept of Shizitou Island. The lifelike scenes attract many visitors to take creative photos together！

Located at the confluence of the Keelung River and the Tamsui River, Shizitou Island Head Park is a reclaimed area created using dredged soil by the Water Resources Bureau. On summer evenings, riding a bicycle rented from Dadaocheng Wharf against the evening breeze and cycling along the Shizitou Island levee-top bike path allows you to enjoy the expansive, refreshing scenery where the two rivers meet—a view you can only get exclusively at Island Head Park, offering a truly comfortable experience.

Meanwhile, the Taipei City Public Works Bureau has recently used the very popular3Dartistic landscape paintings to present the “wetland” theme of Shizitou Island. In the artwork, the clear river brings a cool summer vibe, with egrets and night herons playing in the water, fiddler crabs and mudskippers leisurely soaking in the cold springs, and you can even sit right on a rubber boat or bamboo raft to float along the stream—the hyper-realistic scenes are eye-catching.
