The lineup for the Sea Music Festival is announced—come for a one-day mountain-and-sea mini-trip to Gongliao

The “2015 New Taipei City Gongliao International Marine Music Festival” will be held from July 24 to 26 in a grand three-day celebration. The event lineup was officially announced on June 24, with performances by artists such as HUSH, MISS KO (Ko Chia-hsuan), and Crowd Lu kicking off the festival on the 24th. On the 25th, the top ten finalists of the “Marine Indie Music Grand Prix” and the band Fire EX will take the stage, and the final day will feature Chen Qizhen as the closing act.

This year marks the 16th edition of the New Taipei City Gongliao International Marine Music Festival, themed “Sea Music Festival THE ONE,” highlighting the event’s core spirit of uniting Taiwan’s indie music scene. It also represents the unique impression and memories the festival has cultivated among fans. Additionally, the New Taipei City Government Tourism and Travel Bureau has specially launched a Gongliao mini-trip this year to showcase a different side of Gongliao. The three-day event features themes including “Taiwan’s Rock Formula” on July 24, “Marine Indie Music Grand Prix” on July 25, and “World Rock Revelation” on July 26. Nearly 30 performance groups will take the stage over the three days, making this the hottest music festival in Taiwan that rock music lovers simply cannot miss.

● July 24 (Fri) “Taiwan’s Rock Formula”A mix of rock, rap, folk, and experimental music takes the stage.

● July 25 (Sat) “Marine Indie Music Grand Prix”The exciting competition among the top 10 finalist bands, plus Fire EX as the closing act, symbolizing the legacy of the Sea Music Festival.

● July 26 (Sun) “World Rock Revelation”Features seven outstanding international musical acts and closes with the “Goddess of Creation,” Chen Qizhen, bringing the marine music festival to a perfect close this year.
