Apple reseller STUDIO A, after partnering with Japanese telecom operator NTT Docomo in early May to launch an unlimited data SIM card for Japan, announced in July an upgraded version that not only offers 2.2GB of 4G LTE high-speed data for seven days with unlimited usage but also includes group purchase discounts, as well as 15% off coupons from multiple well-known Japanese retailers.

Additionally, users can also take advantage of Japan’s new 8% tax refund policy. By scanning a designated QR code, they can access a webpage to download virtual coupons from various stores, which can be presented at checkout to receive discounts. Each coupon is valid for one use per person, per card, and per store.
