To make travel in Taiwan more convenient for visitors, the Tourism Bureau officially launched two cards on July 15 — the “Kaohsiung-Pingtung-Penghu Limited Edition” and the “Yilan Limited Edition.” These are part of the newly introduced “Taiwan Fun Card,” which integrates electronic ticketing, combining the advantages of tourist ticketing systems from around the world. It features an e-commerce platform, online booking and payment, and an app for on-the-go convenience, aiming to provide independent travelers in Taiwan with a brand-new, hassle-free travel experience.

● “Taiwan Fun Card – Kaohsiung-Pingtung-Penghu Limited Edition”
This card integrates tourism resources from Kaohsiung, Pingtung, and Penghu, offering cross-regional smart travel services. Products include seven “Golden Selected Tours,” such as the River and Harbor Day Tour, one-day MRT fare, and a Venetian-style gondola cruise for just NT$299. Other packages feature shopping in Yizhi and a 2-day trip to Kenting in Pingtung, or a 3-day tour in Penghu, all at 30–40% off regular prices. The business platform also features “Themed Recommendations,” with various theme-based tours dynamically added. In the future, a “Customizable Products” service will be introduced, allowing travelers to select transportation, meals, tickets, accommodation, and souvenirs to create personalized discount packages.

Now, the public can use the “Kaohsiung-Pingtung-Penghu Fun Card” to customize their preferred tour packages, complete online payments and hotel bookings, and choose either home delivery or pick-up at designated Kaohsiung MRT stations or partner travel agencies. With the card, they can enjoy 1–3 days of relaxing mini-trips in the Kaohsiung-Pingtung-Penghu area.
