Summer Tram Highlights: The Adorable Hankyu Rilakkuma Train

The super-popular Rilakkuma train is about to roll out again！To celebrate the arrival of summer, Japan’s Hankyu Railway has teamed up with Rilakkuma to launch the “Summer Hankyu Rilakkuma Train.” From July 18 until August 31, all visitors will have the chance to spot the adorable Rilakkuma train on the Kyoto Line, the Takarazuka Line, and the Kobe Line！

The “Summer Hankyu Rilakkuma Train” was designed around the theme of “summer memories,” incorporating various summer elements to create different themed train cars. These include the Kobe Line with its ocean and beach style, the Takarazuka Line themed around summer fireworks and festivals, and the Kyoto Line featuring a dozing Rilakkuma enjoying watermelon in the afternoon—each with cute designs that showcase the full charm of Japanese summer.

Besides the themed train cars covered in Rilakkuma designs, limited-edition “Rilakkuma x Hankyu Hankyu Rilakkuma Train” merchandise has been launched exclusively at Hankyu line shops, as well as the Rilakkuma Osaka Umeda and Kobe stores, starting July 18. The collection includes a Rilakkuma dressed in a Hankyu stationmaster’s uniform, as well as train-shaped storage boxes and coin purses. Fans of Rilakkuma won’t want to miss this limited-time event—hop aboard the Rilakkuma train and explore Kansai together！
