Seven years after the opening of the Kaohsiung MRT, Kaohsiung Rapid Transit Corporation held the "Dome Light Show Premiere Press Conference" on the 23rd in the Hall of the Dome of Light at Formosa Boulevard Station. By combining the glass artwork "Dome of Light" in the station hall with music and light projections, a dreamlike scene was created. The 2.0 version of the "Dome of Light" will attract more tourists to visit Kaohsiung.

The newly revamped 2.0 version of the "Dome of Light" uses lighting and music to showcase vibrant and dynamic light rhythms. Starting from the 23rd, the Dome of Light Light Show will present various themed shows for different holidays and festivals, with three screenings per day at 11:00 AM, 3:00 PM, and 8:00 PM. Special additional screenings are available on Fridays and holidays, and the public can also borrow an audio guide MP3 for the Dome of Light.

The number of tourists visiting Kaohsiung is increasing day by day, with 7.62 million international visitors last year. It is expected that Kaohsiung’s tourism industry will continue to thrive in the future. In the seven years since its opening, the Kaohsiung MRT has boosted tourism in the city, and Formosa Boulevard Station has been named the world’s second most beautiful metro station by CNN. The revamped 2.0 version of the "Dome of Light" will present a new dynamic beauty, distinct from its previous serene artistic ambiance.
