Japan’s second Universal Studios will be built in Okinawa. Although smaller in scale compared to Osaka Universal Studios and Tokyo Disneyland, the Okinawa Universal Studios will not only introduce brand-new attractions but also offer a completely different theme style from Osaka. Combining Okinawa’s natural island scenery, it aims to build a fresh Universal Studios ocean-themed park. Completion is expected by spring 2020, and it will open no later than the Tokyo Olympics at the latest.
