Starting from the end of November through early March every year, Huis Ten Bosch is transformed into a vibrant wonderland of colorful lights, becoming one of the most dazzling destinations in all of Japan. Aiming to be the world’s premier light festival, the illumination at Huis Ten Bosch grows more spectacular each year. In 2012, the display featured as many as 10 million bulbs, with illuminated European-style buildings and a sea of lights creating a romantic atmosphere that feels like stepping into a dreamlike fantasy.
