Southern Taiwan boasts breathtaking ecological wonders and abundant natural resources, where pristine mountains, seas, and original landscapes interweave with a rich cultural heritage, adding a sense of mystery to any journey here. The seven major cities and counties—Yunlin, Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Pingtung, and Penghu—each showcase unique attractions, delicious cuisine, local specialties, and cultural charm, attracting visitors all year round.

Jointly issued by the Tourism Bureau, MOTC and others, the “Southern Taiwan Tourism Passport” has entered its tenth edition. It can be obtained at expressways, TRA stations, THSR stations, MRT stations, post offices, and Tourism Bureau visitor centers. In addition, it was distributed at the 2015 International Travel Fair as well as overseas locations including Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, and Malaysia. A digital version including an e-book and app has also been launched, allowing free downloads so that even those without a physical copy can fully utilize the content.
