Korea

Combining shopping and skiing in Korea is absolutely the best value winter trip！Korea’s ski resorts are mainly concentrated in Gangwon Province, which gets heavy snowfall in winter, and in Seoul suburbs that can be reached within a weekend. Most resorts with ski slopes are year-round integrated resort complexes, offering well-equipped lodging and facilities amid fresh air and comfortable natural surroundings. Korea’s peak winter tourism season runs from mid-December to the end of February, with ski resorts typically opening in late November to early December and closing around early March the following year.

Japan
