Taiwan’s largest cornfield maze debuts — 12 hectares of hide-and-seek fun

Taiwan’s largest cornfield maze officially opened on December 5, inviting visitors to take on the challenge. The Chiayi Yizhu Corn Culture Festival has created a massive 12-hectare corn maze, where guests can not only explore the maze for free, but event organizers have also designed challenges within the maze, aiming to invite both kids and adults to take part.

The Yizhu Township Farmers' Association stated that to promote locally grown non-GMO hard corn, they launched a 10-hectare corn maze in 2012 which received great acclaim. This year, it has expanded to 12 hectares, making the challenge even more difficult. This year’s corn maze is designed in the shape of three monkeys hugging each other, which is very cute.

Maze Location: East side of Highway 19, 94K, at the maze site
Transportation:
1. Take a Chiayi Bus to Yizhu Township Station and get off there.
2. Or take a train to Tainan Xinying Station, then transfer to Xinying Bus (heading toward Puzi) and get off at Donghouliu Station.
