The OPEN Family Balloon Parade is Coming – Gudetama Joins for the First Time

The popular OPEN Family balloon parade, adored by children and adults alike, is here again. This year marks the 10th LET’S OPEN balloon parade, which will be held on December 6 and 12 under the theme “Starting Anew, Touching Hearts Again” at the Xinzhuang Special District in New Taipei City and Dream Mall in Kaohsiung.

The LET’S OPEN balloon parade is Asia’s largest cartoon balloon event, featuring over 20 cartoon balloons joining the fun this year. Among the new additions are Gudetama and the Little Bear School, making their debut appearances. In addition, more than 1,500 performance groups and student teams will take part in this grand parade. The OPEN Team family will bring a brand-new musical experience, with marching bands energizing the crowd. After the parade, there will also be an outdoor movie screening and night-time balloon displays. Fans are invited to gather at Dream Mall in Kaohsiung at 2 PM on December 12 for the festivities.

Continuing last year’s momentum, the OPEN Family has once again been invited by the New Taipei City Government to hold a parade on December 6 in the Xinzhuang Special District. Featuring high-quality marching bands from New Taipei, the OPEN Family Band will showcase a fresh look as balloons and music spread joy and happiness together.
