A Guide to 9 Must-Do Events at New Taipei City Christmasland – Experience the Magic of Christmas

The 2015 New Taipei City Christmasland officially opened on November 20. On the opening day, the “360-degree 3D holographic projection Christmas tree” amazed the audience, drawing many tourists and pedestrians to come and admire it. From the opening day until January 2016, Christmasland will host a total of nine events to let everyone experience the charm of the festive season.

● Kids’ Carnival
Event Dates: November 21 (Sat) – November 22 (Sun), 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Event Description: Enjoy magic shows, live fairy tales, Christmas gift-giving with Santa, and fun with kids. There will also be performances by renowned theater troupes such as If Kids Theater, and a meet-and-greet with Finn and Jake from the CN cartoon channel Adventure Time, bringing you the happiest and warmest Christmas ever.
● Christmas Eco Treasure Hunt
Event Dates: November 28 (Sat) – November 29 (Sun), 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Event Description:
On November 28 (Sat), enjoy an eco-friendly Christmas fair organized by New Taipei City’s environmental volunteers — delicious treats, fun activities, and learn about environmental protection while helping to save the Earth.
On November 29 (Sun), check out the flea market hosted by the New Taipei City Environmental Protection Bureau. Come dig for treasures and pick out a special Christmas gift for yourself.

● Christmas Market
Event Dates: December 4 (Fri) – December 6 (Sun), 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Event Description: Discover quality local goods and specialty products from various commercial districts, immersing yourself in New Taipei City’s unique Christmas atmosphere. You can also find all your Christmas gifts in one place.
