The city’s latest viral drink, "Soy Milk Tea," emphasizes craftsmanship with minimal packaging or branding—focusing solely on fresh daily production and sales. Most notably, to buy Soy Milk Tea, customers must use a vending machine. The owner restocks the machine around 5 AM daily, yet the queue begins forming as early as 3 AM. To allow more people a chance to purchase it, the limit is set at two bottles per person—but all stock is still sold out by 6 AM, a clear sign of its immense popularity.

Soy Milk Tea is actually a bottled hand-shaken drink, with each bottle containing 350cc. It comes in three flavors: the classic "White Cap Milk Tea" based on black tea, the "Black Cap Barley Milk" made from whole grain barley, and the limited-time "Matcha Milk" featuring matcha flavor. Prices are NT$35, NT$45, and NT$55 respectively, with all ingredients proudly 100% made in Taiwan. Since every bottle is hand-shaken and the processes of brewing, resting the tea, and preparation are time-consuming, the owner prioritizes quality over quantity, limiting daily sales to just 300 bottles.

Aside from vending machine sales, it’s also available at some retail locations. Additionally, the owner reminds followers on social media that "Soy Milk Tea" is made with non-dairy creamer through hand-shaking. They explain that while non-dairy creamer, fresh milk, milk water, condensed milk, and butter are all common components of milk tea—and are processed products—consumption of dairy-like beverages should be moderate. The reason for using non-dairy creamer is to achieve a richer, creamier texture. Whether or not to purchase it is left to individual health considerations.
