Bangkok's new landmark, the eye-catching G Tower

Thailand’s talked-about "G-Tower" was officially completed in the second half of 2015. It has now begun recruiting commercial tenants and will officially open in 2016. Travelers planning to visit Bangkok in 2016 will be able to see this eye-catching new landmark with their own eyes.

The new landmark "G-Tower" boasts an eye-catching design, taking its name from its letter-G-shaped structure. The building is divided into north and south wings, with 30 and 42 floors respectively. The south wing is tilted, giving the appearance that it might collapse at any moment, which drew many complaints from local residents during construction and sparked quite a bit of discussion.

Additionally, the group behind the investment in G-Tower, Grand Canal Land, is also planning to construct another building, Super Tower, right next to it. Standing 615 meters high with approximately 125 floors, it will feature both retail and hotel functions. Once completed, it will become the tallest building in Southeast Asia and is expected to become a hot topic once again.
