Hsinchu’s first pet park officially opens: Dog maze, seesaw, and more like a theme park

Hsinchu now has a dedicated playground for furry friends too. The first “pet sports park” in Hsinchu County has officially opened at Zhudong Riverside Park. The park features a variety of fun dog-friendly facilities such as seesaws, jump tires, and mazes. People across the country are invited to bring their pets for a walk along the scenic riverside and let them enjoy themselves in their exclusive play area.

The pet park in the Touqian River Riverside Park is located near the parking lot. It offers a large green lawn and various facilities, making it perfect for pet owners and their furry companions to enjoy together. In recent years, the number of pet owners has been growing, and more people are bringing their “fur kids” to the riverside park for exercise. With the establishment of the pet park, it aims to foster bonds between humans and their pets, provide dog lovers with a comfortable leisure environment to interact, and give dogs more space to make new furry friends. Everyone is welcome to come and use it.

Zhudong Riverside Park has newly launched Hsinchu County’s first “dog sports park,” encouraging not only friendly interaction with the environment but also shared enjoyment of a pet-friendly space with furry companions. The park offers a spacious and well-equipped area exclusively for pets. It is divided into two major zones for large and small dogs, featuring pet-designed play equipment such as a dog maze, jump tires, wave boardwalk, seesaw, sandbox, tunnels, and hurdles.

The Zhudong Township Office also urges pet owners who bring their pets to the riverside park to take full responsibility for cleaning up after their dogs, helping to maintain the beauty and cleanliness of the riverside area.
