Japan’s longest pedestrian-only suspension bridge, the “Hakone West Foot - Mishima Grand Suspension Bridge,” has officially opened. The 400-meter-long bridge not only offers stunning views of the Izu mountain range but also allows visitors to take in the scenery of Mount Fuji.

The “Hakone West Foot - Mishima Grand Suspension Bridge” is located in Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. Spanning 400 meters, it is currently Japan’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Izu’s verdant mountains and Suruga Bay from an altitude of 70 meters, as well as distant vistas of Mount Fuji—making it a must-visit attraction. The bridge charges an admission fee: ¥1,000 for adults, ¥500 for junior and senior high school students, ¥200 for elementary school students, and free entry for infants.
