Bitter cold brings dreamy rime beauty to Mount Taiping

Thanks to the cold air mass, the lowest temperature in Mount Taiping National Forest Recreation Area in Yilan County reached minus 3 degrees Celsius this morning. Though there was no snow, the treetops across the park were coated in rime, giving Mount Taiping a silver-white landscape — a breathtaking, fairy-tale-like scene.
