Hualien’s New Highlight: School Transforms into Airport with Stunning 3D Murals

3D murals bring a lot of fun. In addition to making attractions more interesting, when they appear on campus, they can also inject a bit of liveliness into what is otherwise a serious learning environment. Recently, lifelike 3D mural works have appeared on the campus of Jiali Elementary School in Hualien County—not only featuring a 3D airport waiting room, but also airplanes and views of Qixingtan, attracting many tourists and students to take photos together.

The Xincheng Township Office in Hualien County carried out a mural painting project on the soundproof wall of the Air Force airport access road at the entrance of Jiali Elementary School, adding interactivity between the once-ordinary walls and visitors. Here, visitors can pretend to be sitting in an airport waiting room waiting for a flight, with the blue sea of Qixingtan behind them, accompanied by dolphins and crabs. It is expected to become a new highlight in Hualien.

In addition to Jiali Elementary School, other schools that have sparked discussion by using murals to decorate their campuses include Ruifang Liantong Elementary School and Changhua Cuntung Elementary School, which used ocean world and giant illustrated book concepts for their murals, turning their campuses into imaginative worlds and making going to school a fun experience.
