Dual Delight of Plum Blossoms and Cherry Blossoms – A Dreamy Mix of Pink and White on Lawn Head

The flower appreciation season has arrived in Xinyi Township, Nantou. In addition to the official start of the plum blossom blooming period in January, cherry blossoms have also begun to quietly bloom. The 2016 Xinyi Township Cherry Blossom Season series of events kicks off today at the beautifully scenic Yu Shan Sightseeing Tea Garden, where a series of wonderful tea art and music activities are arranged to invite everyone to come and admire the captivating beauty of Taiwan’s native Formosan cherry blossoms.

The Yu Shan Tea Garden is a scenic sightseeing tea area covering approximately 50 hectares, with thousands of cherry, peach, and plum trees planted throughout the park. When the flowers are in full bloom, the pink petals scattered across the lush green terraced tea fields create an even more vibrant and romantic scene.

The Lawn Head Tourist and Leisure Farm plants beautiful rapeseed flowers along the road, and there are over 4,000 cherry blossom trees by the roadside. The pink floral rain drifts like mist and smoke, allowing visitors to leisurely stroll through the tea garden, enjoy the beautiful scenery of the tea country and the rich aroma of tea, and experience the relaxing rural life.
