600,000 tulips bloom in Peach Blossom Valley, creating a fairy-tale landscape

Spring has arrived, and not only are cherry and plum blossoms blooming one after another, but it’s also the season for tulips to flower. Starting every January, large swaths of vibrant pink tulips burst into bloom across Peach Blossom Valley. With dozens of colors including pink, purple, red, and yellow, and approximately 60 different varieties, a total of 600,000 tulips bloom all at once, forming a rainbow-colored sea of flowers. Layers upon layers of blossoms interweave into a rich and dazzling tapestry of color, attracting travelers from near and far to come and experience a uniquely romantic atmosphere.

Peach Blossom Valley is located in Changxing Village, Fuxing District, Taoyuan City, nestled within the mountainous border area between Taoyuan City and Hsinchu County. Covering an area of about 200 hectares, the valley preserves the natural landscape of the mountains and forests, including 100 hectares of afforestation, 20,000 ornamental cherry and plum trees, over 2,000 species of herbaceous plants and shrubs. The floral scenery you can enjoy here changes every year, and nearly every variety of tulip found around the world can be found here. With diverse shapes and colors, the tulips complement the valley's streamside terrain, forming an ever-changing, colorful floral carpet. In addition to tulips, Peach Blossom Valley is also planted with more than 3,000 plum trees, which have begun to blossom successively and will continue through the New Year. Then over 10,000 double-flowered cherry trees will bloom, instantly transforming the valley into a dreamy, fairytale-like paradise. It's a perfect destination for spring outings and nature walks.
