A long-abandoned station in Manhattan, USA, the "Old City Hall Station," has recently reopened after being unused for 70 years. The station retains the well-preserved urban design of its time and is hailed as the most beautiful station in Manhattan.

The "Old City Hall Station" opened on October 27, 1904, and was the main station on the Manhattan line at the time. Because the Old City Hall Station could only accommodate trains with five cars, by 1940, most stations had been upgraded to accommodate ten-car trains, so the station was closed—and it remained closed for 70 years. This station still preserves the only Roman Revival-style design in the railway system of that era. During the day, natural light streams in through the glass skylights, while at night, brass chandeliers provide illumination. Everywhere you look, the urban aesthetics of the time are on display, earning it the title of the most beautiful station in Manhattan.
