To welcome the arrival of the 2016 winter vacation, 23 theme parks across Taiwan have launched the “Year of the Monkey, Bear Joy” promotional campaign. Whether it’s free entry or special discounts for those born in the Year of the Monkey, limited-time monkey-themed offers, or stunning flower-viewing tours as spring blooms and prosperity arrives, as well as brand-new rides and world-class performances, there’s something to satisfy families of all sizes.

23 theme parks nationwide are offering a variety of great deals, such as E-DA World’s early spring registration for 1,000 people born in the Year of the Monkey at just NT$99, Yun Hsien Resort’s NT$100 entry for those born in the Year of the Monkey and students, as well as flower-viewing spring tours like the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village’s Cherry Blossom Festival featuring “daytime views of cherry blossoms and evening night cherry blossom illuminations,” and the Dongshi Forest Recreation Area’s NT$1299 hot spring and cherry blossom package including one night’s stay and two meals for an exceptional value.

1. Year of the Monkey, Bear Joy – During the Chinese New Year period (2/8–2/14), visitors born in the Year of the Monkey enjoy free admission.

1. Birthday Weekends Buy One Get One Free: On the weekend of your birthday month, present a valid ID to buy a full-price ticket (Adult NT$999 / Student NT$899 / Child NT$699 / Toddler NT$499 / Senior NT$399) and get a second ticket of equal or lesser value free (not applicable during the Lunar New Year period 2/8–2/12).
