EVA Air has once again achieved outstanding results in flight safety. The authoritative German aviation safety data center JACDEC (Jet Airliner Crash Data Evaluation Centre) recently released the 2015 ranking of the world’s safest airlines, where EVA Air was once again recognized, retaining its third-place position globally.

Following its recent recognition as the world’s safest airline by the internationally renowned aviation website AirlineRatings.com, EVA Air’s safety standards have once again been affirmed by an international professional organization. JACDEC is a professional aviation safety data analysis agency that annually evaluates major global airlines based on factors such as years of operation, statistics on major incidents over the past decade, and the number of aircraft losses over the past 30 years. It selects 60 of the safest airlines, with the full rankings to be published tomorrow and featured in the professional aviation magazine AERO International. Since its establishment, EVA Air has maintained a perfect safety record with “zero” aircraft losses and “zero” fatalities. Since 2003, it has repeatedly earned professional recognition from JACDEC and AERO International, ranking among the world’s top ten safest airlines. This year, it has retained last year’s impressive achievement by securing third place.

Among the top ten airlines selected this time, six positions have changed, indicating fierce competition in the 2015 rankings. That EVA Air has achieved outstanding results over the years is indeed remarkable. Among this year’s top ten safest airlines globally, in addition to EVA Air, there are also three Star Alliance members: Air New Zealand and TAP Portugal.
