The 2016 Eastern Taiwan Flower Sea Festival is now in full swing, featuring over 30 hectares of vibrant floral landscapes including sunflowers, rapeseed flowers, and scarlet sage, painting the natural beauty of eastern Taiwan in brilliant hues. This flower sea festival stretches along 12 townships along Provincial Highway 9 in the Huatung Valley and the coastal areas of Taitung along Provincial Highway 11, including Chenggong and Changbin, blooming all the way from Lunar New Year until the end of March, welcoming the new year with beauty.
