As Lunar New Year approaches, GLORIA OUTLETS Huatai Premium Outlets is gearing up for the holiday season by hosting a grand “Huatai Chinatown” event. In addition to hanging festive red lanterns, the mall has also been given a festive makeover. The ten-meter-tall “Reunion Banquet” installation in the first plaza features lifelike traditional New Year dishes, along with ten oversized “lucky bowl and plate sets” larger than life, allowing visitors to become “bowl-people” and take fun photos.

The second plaza has been transformed into a “Dream Land Pink Lawn,” where dreamy pastel macarons complement the “Peach Pink Statue of Liberty.” During the Spring Festival, the statue will go local by holding red envelopes and wishing everyone a happy new year, showing off its playful side.

Additionally, the mall has welcomed new brands, including Taoyuan’s popular eatery “Nami Taiyaki.” Business owner Gu Dechuan noted that having a Japanese-style taiyaki shop hidden within an American-style outlet mall is quite unique. Since fish symbolize good fortune and abundance in Chinese culture, he welcomes everyone to enjoy taiyaki and soak up the festive spirit.
