The motel pulls out all the stops with an extravagant Forbidden City theme

Taiwan has many unique hotels, and recently one claimed to have been built with an investment of 1 billion NTD, themed around the “Forbidden City.” Not only is it spacious, but its decor is extremely luxurious. The motel even features a massive SPA pool where up to 20 people can bathe together, making it a major talking point.

The Forbidden City-themed motel adopts a grand imperial luxury style, inspired by “a tribute to dynasties throughout history.” Everywhere you look, there are window grilles and delicate wood carvings imported from mainland China used to decorate the space. There are also garden landscapes and small bridges over flowing water, creating an imperial atmosphere. The entire motel has a total of 41 themed imperial rooms and 30 boutique guest rooms. The top-tier room, “The Peak of the Forbidden City,” covers an area of 100 ping. In addition to its grand decor, it also features a Dragon Spring Pool that can accommodate 20 people for a hot spring soak, creating a luxurious image reminiscent of a “wine pool and meat forest.”
