Since its establishment in 1986, Pixar Animation Studios has produced numerous works, including Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., and the recently released The Good Dinosaur—each leaving a deep impression. This exhibition showcases over 500 animation artworks, including hand-drawn pieces, sculptures, and pastel paintings, revealing the creative processes behind these classic works. Additionally, the exhibition features a specially created “Toy Story Peep Show” for the world tour, displaying three-dimensional figures of Woody and Buzz Lightyear on spinning discs. As the discs rapidly rotate in the dark under projected light, the cartoon characters appear to come to life. Another highlight is “Artscape,” which uses digital technology to transform two-dimensional artworks into 3D animations projected onto screens. Fans of Pixar animations shouldn’t miss this.
