Taiwan–Korea routes get a new boost with Jin Air (JIN AIR), the general sales agent of Phoenix Tourism Group’s subsidiary Yongli Enterprise, launching its first direct flight from Taipei (Taoyuan International Airport) to Seoul Incheon Airport on March 24. Coinciding with Korea’s peak cherry blossom season, to celebrate the inaugural three flights from March 24 to 26, special one-way promotional fares start from just NT$999 (excluding taxes and fees).

Jin Air (JIN AIR) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Korean Air, which is the leading airline in South Korea. In terms of safety standards, Jin Air is no different from full-service carriers and has received four IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) certifications with zero deficiencies, making it the first low-cost carrier in Korea to achieve this certification.

Unlike typical low-cost carriers, Jin Air caters more closely to the needs of Taiwanese travelers by offering additional services—on international routes, it includes 15 kg of checked baggage and 12 kg of carry-on baggage for free, as well as in-flight light meals and water already included in the fare. Additionally, it provides iPad rental services, allowing passengers to enjoy internet browsing, games, movies, and more, upgrading the overall low-cost flying experience.
