Star Cruises' SuperStar Aquarius unveils an exciting new entertainment feast – the “Queen of Hearts” cabaret show wows the crowd

As Taiwanese travelers are increasingly embracing cruises, cruise companies continue to innovate both in hardware and software. On the 9th, Star Cruises held the “SuperStar Aquarius 2017 New Entertainment Feast Launch Gala” at Keelung Port, premiering the original musical cabaret “Queen of Hearts” and a magic show by Spain’s top magician Ezker, aiming to offer passengers a refreshing experience. The cruise line also announced its next season of themed onboard entertainment, ensuring that every moment aboard the SuperStar Aquarius will be thrilling.

Star Cruises places great emphasis on the Taiwan market. To attract new customers and encourage repeat guests to once again experience the vibrant onboard entertainment, this year the SuperStar Aquarius introduces an original musical"The Queen of Hearts", blending song and dance, opera, and exceptional acrobatic performances. Breaking the boundaries of traditional stage setups, it promotes boundary-free performance where the audience area also becomes part of the dancers' stage, bringing performers closer to the guests. Additionally, Spain’s top magician Ezker presents“The Revolution”a spectacular magic show, whether large-scale musical magic or close-up tricks, all delighting the audience.

Colin Kerr, Senior Vice President of Entertainment at Star Cruises, also announced new activities to be launched on the SuperStar Aquarius this summer, such as the recently popular bubble soccer, water balloon burst (Pitch Burst Game), crab soccer, and blanket volleyball. With over 30 years of experience in entertainment planning, Colin Kerr has fully adapted many fun land-based activities for the ship, fully demonstrating Star Cruises’ ambition to enhance cruise tourism and attract more passengers.
Liu Xiaoning, Vice President of Commercial Operations at Star Cruises, pointed out that with strong government support, starting March 21 this year, Star Cruises will add Kaohsiung Port as its second home port. Specifically deploying the “SuperStar Aquarius” and its flagship “SuperStar Virgo,” the company becomes the first cruise line to operate with “two cruise ships” and “two home ports” in Taiwan. In addition to continuing Northeast Asia routes to popular destinations in Japan such as Naha, Ishigaki, and Miyako Islands in Okinawa, it will also launch new Southeast Asia routes from Kaohsiung to Hong Kong, Manila, and Laoag starting March 21.
