Outback Steakhouse, operated in Taiwan by KUANDA Foods, currently has four locations nationwide that are set to close simultaneously on March 31. This also marks Outback Steakhouse's official exit from the Taiwanese market.

KUANDA Foods began operating Outback Steakhouse in Taiwan in 2004. Due to the termination of their partnership on March 31, KUANDA Foods announced that all four of its locations—including Taipei Dunbei, Hsinchu Zhubei, Taichung Municipal, and Kaohsiung Love River—will close at the same time, signifying Outback Steakhouse’s formal departure from Taiwan. Despite ending the partnership with Outback, KUANDA Foods assured that customer rights will be fully protected. Additionally, with years of experience in the American dining market, they plan to relaunch with familiar faces, new store designs, new menu items, and make a comeback as soon as possible.
