Peach Aviation's pioneering Japanese-style cabin and the SAMURAI-themed aircraft have successfully captured public attention.

The cabin is designed to offer passengers a more authentic Japanese service experience. It emphasizes that as soon as you board, you’ll be greeted by the scent of igusa (rush grass) from the tatami mats. The entire cabin features Japanese-style tatami seating (cushions are available for an additional 500 yen each), and the overhead storage shelves are handmade by local Kyoto bamboo weaving artisans. The Japanese-style lavatory is also an aviation industry first. Flight attendants are dressed in kimono, while the captain is transformed into a Japanese samurai—making passengers eager to see what kind of flight experience awaits.

The first two rows offer a foot soaking experience, and there are also sunken kotatsu-style seats in the center aisle, which provide warmth for passengers during winter. The journey also includes sumo performances by male flight attendants and exciting taiko drum shows. The plane also sells authentic matcha drinks meticulously prepared by a renowned tea house master. All iconic elements of Japanese culture are fully presented onboard, making it the most orthodox and authentic Japanese-style cabin.
