The world-renowned outdoor theme park "Legoland" is scheduled to officially open in Nagoya on April 1, 2017. The park spans about 9.3 hectares and will include over 40 rides and large installations such as roller coasters and theaters, among which is a model of Nagoya Castle made from 220,000 LEGO bricks, showcasing iconic landmarks of Japan and Nagoya. Nagoya Legoland is the second Legoland in Asia, following the one in Malaysia.

Located at Nagoya Port, Nagoya Legoland is divided into six major zones: Lego City, Adventure Land, Mini Land, Lego Kingdom, Lego Factory, and the LEGO Street shopping area. The official website has started selling the limited-edition first annual pass "1ST TO PLAY," priced between 13,300 and 17,300 Japanese yen. In addition to receiving special LEGO bricks and a membership card, holders can enjoy early access during the soft opening period from March 18 to 21, 2017.
