Zhanghua’s New Attraction: The Eye-Catching Watermelon Mural Village

Located in Sanhe Community, Fuxing Township, Changhua County, there is a mural village themed around “watermelons,” featuring giant watermelons taller than people, adorable watermelon-shaped tables and chairs, and various cartoon character graffiti integrated with watermelon motifs, attracting many visitors every holiday.

Fuxing Township is the largest watermelon-producing area in Changhua and holds an annual Watermelon Festival to promote local agricultural products. To showcase Fuxing watermelons, the township has combined local culture with the trend of mural communities to create the unique “Watermelon Mural Village,” which is open to the public for free, becoming a new tourism hotspot in central Taiwan.
